Risk Assessment

There were several risks we had to deal with at our O2 gig.

Trip Hazards: There were a lot of leads around the stage which could have potentially caused a trip. We dealt with this risk by taping down leads and moving them out of the way where possible. Fortunately this stopped any trips from occurring.

Disabled Access: There is no disabled access to the upstairs part of the venue at the o2. This means that anyone in a wheelchair or who cannot climb stairs has to be carried up. This is particularly hazardous in the event of a fire or emergency where someone with reduced mobility would not be able to get out of the building quickly, and would endanger others. This is impossible to resolve, however there were no disabled people at the gig.

Water and Electrical Equipment: We will be using a lot of electrical equipment, which could cause an electric shock if water gets on it. Therefore we need to make sure we keep water well away from a lot of the electronics and be very careful with the water we do have near the electronics.
