Soprano:
The highest female voice out of all of the vocal ranges
Alto:
The vocal range above tenor and below soprano
Tenor:
The highest singing vocal range for an adult male
Bass:
The lowest male vocal range, which is also the lowest of all vocal ranges
Falsetto:
Falsetto is a range of singing for adult males who sing above the top of their natural singing range
Acapella:
Acapella is where a piece of music is written or performed with just vocals, and no musical accompaniment
Choir:
An organised singing ensemble that can perform acapella or with musical accompaniment
Backing Vocals:
A vocal accompaniment for a lead vocal part, sometimes singing harmonies or different vocal lines all together
